• During an artist in residence in Bucharest I interviewed children, young adults and elderly people about their relationship with objects. These answers and my observations of the city were the inspirationsource for this series of work.
• Elderly people told me about everything they used to hide in their garden for the Russians who would come and take their belongings. Therefore I made a suit which included trousers, a blouse, a jackets, socks and underwear with pockets. A suit you can wear with all your precious belongings. In Bucharest you see a lot of recycled plastic bottles on the street for flowers, water, objects and more. I wanted to preserve these and made them out of ceramics.
